The editorial policy (Blattlinie) and business purpose of this website are to provide information on long-life food, strategic food reserves and emergency supplies for institutional customers under the Food Standard brand. Responsibility for the content lies with the media owner named above.

Data protection

The protection of your data is important to us. This website has deliberately been built so that as little personal data as is technically possible is generated. The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Lebenskraft e.U., as named in the company details.

No cookies, no tracking, no external services

This website sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or tracking tools and loads no content from external servers. Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are served exclusively from our own server. Your data is therefore never passed to Google, content delivery networks or social networks.

Local storage

So that the notice on cookies and local storage does not appear on every visit, this website places a single entry in your browser's local storage once you confirm it. It contains nothing but the note that the notice has been read, allows no conclusions about your person and is never transmitted to us. This entry is technically necessary within the meaning of section 165 (3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021) and therefore does not require consent. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

Contact form and requirements calculator

The entries in the contact form and in the requirements calculator are processed exclusively in your browser and are neither transmitted to this website nor stored there. On submission, your local email programme opens with a prepared message. The message only leaves your computer once you send it yourself. There is no database and no server-side form processing on this website.

Processing of your enquiry

If you send us an email, we process the data it contains – typically name, institution, email address, telephone number and the details of your supply requirement – exclusively in order to deal with your enquiry and to initiate a contractual relationship. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Data is passed on to third parties only in so far as this is necessary to fulfil your enquiry, for example to a freight forwarding company in the case of a delivery.

Storage period

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted at the latest three years after the end of the year in which the contact took place. If a contract is concluded, the statutory retention periods under company and tax law of up to seven years apply.

Server log files

When this page is accessed, the hosting provider collects technically necessary access data such as IP address, time, file requested and volume of data transferred. This data is required in order to deliver the page and to defend against attacks, is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short period. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Your rights

You have the rights to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise them, simply contact us informally at info@lebens-kraft.eu. If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Datenschutzbehörde (Data Protection Authority): Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, dsb.gv.at.
